Many thanks to Cleon and Sarah Plunk for their generosity and hard work putting together an excellent modern family picnic
and get-together yesterday. The day was spent playing in the park and in the pool, stuffing ourselves with
barbeque brisket and friend chicken, and chasing the kids and being with friends. Everyone slept well that night.
We'll have to go on campaign to relax!
Though many members and their families came and had a good time, I want to give special thanks to Earl Rice for playing
the bagpipes for us, to Josh Griffith for attending this, his first "event" with the 77th Pennsylvania and to the Morrisons
and Weisers who attended as friends and left--at least for the Weisers--as members.
